Introduction

             The Research Cell aims to nurture research culture in the students and faculties by encouraging research in newly emerging and challenging areas in multidisciplinary fields like Commerce, Science, Education etc. This enhances the general research capability of budding researchers by way of participating in conferences, seminars, workshops, project competition, etc.

           Research is the backbone of Education. Research helps educationists to recognize and benefit the opportunities for collaboration, sharing of knowledge, innovative practices and skills. In order to provide every faculty member and students with the latest skills and expertise in their area of interest, MJ College has formed its Research Cell where in all our diverse teachers can share their expertise would in return enrich, enhance and help every faculty member and students to grow to the optimum. Thus, the Research Cell was established, with the objective of motivating and empowering every faculty member.

Vision: To be one of the best Institution in central India by conducting world-class research and creative activities that develops knowledge, contribute to the economic growth and social advancement of the nation and benefit humanity as a whole.

Mission: To develop and expand innovative research programs that address important national and global needs. By technology transfer and commercialization, the economic development in central India could be improved.

Objectives

• To create awareness and opportunities in research field among the students & faculty members.
• To create interest and atmosphere among the staff members to take up research projects and improve their knowledge, skills and research profile.
• To motivate the faculty members of the group for research activities in the area of their specialization;
• To encourage staff members and students to publish technical papers in reputed national and international journals.
• To undertake research projects offered by agencies such as NCTE, UGC, CCOST and private funding agencies.
• To facilitate the growth of research activity among the academic community, including developing mechanisms and targets to achieve this.
• To framework research policies and research ethics for the institution.
• To maintain and disseminate current information about relevant research areas and initiatives in government, in the professions and in relevant industries, including external funding opportunities;
• To develop strategies to foster research collaborations within the faculty, across faculty and institutes, and with agencies outside the college.
• To work with various departments to establish and develop faculty research priorities in interdisciplinary areas;
• To coordinate faculty level workshops and staff development activities on research-related issues. 
• Collaboration with reputed colleges, industries and research institutions to create educational and employment opportunities for students.
