About department

The department offers a Bachelor's Degree and master degree in Science& Computer Science. Department of Computer Science & Science was established in the year 2001, with the objective of imparting quality education in the field of Science & Computer Science. Our department has a three-sided mission: to create knowledge, to disseminate knowledge, and to provide service to our society. With rapid evolving technology and the continuous need for innovation the department always ensures providing products as per requirement of IT Industry. Computer science will help you to gain the knowledge and techniques to specify, design, code, modify and test different types of software ranging from web-based systems to mobile solutions.

The course mainly focuses on:

Algorithms
Software Development Processes.
Cyber Security
IOT Devices
Standard Programming Languages such as C, Java and Python
Practical knowledge of Databases such as Oracle and SQL Server

The aims of the teaching and study of sciences are to encourage and enable students to: develop inquiring minds and curiosity about science and the natural world. Acquire knowledge, conceptual understanding and skills to solve problems and make informed decisions in scientific and other contexts. Science will help you to gain the knowledge and techniques to specify options in Applied Mathematics, Combinatory & Optimization, Mathematics Education, Pure Mathematics and Statistics. Physics is a natural science that involves the study of matter and its motion through space and time, along with related concepts such as energy and force. More broadly, it is the study of nature in an attempt to understand how the universe behaves. Chemists are driven to understand the fundamental behavior of matter in terms of its properties and behavior. Chemicals shape, propel, protect, feed, cure, and stimulate us.

The department has set up 10 mbps broad-band Internet facility fitted with Wi-Fi equipment so that the internet is accessible from all places of the department. This general facility is useful for both the students and the faculty members. The faculty members utilize the internet for deriving useful information on the subjects they teach and also use the net for furtherance of their research activities. Students can browse relevant websites and download educational materials round the clock as per their requirement.

All the faculty members are expert of their domains and are always there for students. The faculty is highly motivated, enthusiastic and easily approachable.

Objectives of Department

Upon successful completion of a major in Science, students will be able to

To provide the student with a broad understanding of the physical principles of the universe
To help them develop critical thinking and quantitative reasoning skills, to empower them to think creatively and critically about scientific problems and experiments
To provide a broad foundation in chemistry that stresses scientific reasoning and analytical problem solving with a molecular perspective
To provide students with the skills required to succeed in graduate school, the chemical industry or professional school.
